The Beastmaster

As a great Vulcan once said, “Only NIxon could go to China”, or, in this case, “Only Cody could marry a Ptera-person”. That’s right, despite losing an arm to one of the great beasts, Cody has magnanimously tossed aside all anger and past hostilities and has taken a Ptera-woman as his wife. And what better way to celebrate this joyous union than by watching the age old HBO classic The Beastmaster? I’m your host, David Snider, and joining me as we throw some children into the sacrificial fire are fellow cinephiles and emurites Ryan Caldwell, MIchael Althouse, and special guests Cody Eastlick and Ja-nah. Listen as we discuss the practicality of a stilt village; we try to determine how Dar maintains his amazing bod in the desert; and finally, we breakdown all of the things that The Beastmaster shamelessly rips off - from Conan to the Smurfs.
