The Beckies talk to the creator of This Mums Mind - discovering support in your community

Here the Beckies  are delighted  to talk to Sarah the creator of This Mums Mind.We discover why she started her brilliant blog and  what her mission  to support other people is all about .Sarah is open and honest about what it feels like to live with mental health illness.This brave choice to talk came from 'time to talk'.  Sarah speaks about understanding  that not all you see is what peoples lives are really like. You never know what is going on  in other peoples lives.Sarah is a writer and has used this talent to support other Mums especially, she blasts open  the door to the reality of  motherhood and  shines light on the importance of ensuring your own wellbeing.  We discuss with Sarah the need of us all to have a small chunk of time to just reconnect with what we need and who we are, we are mums, we are professionals, we are family, however we are humans first.  Helping everyone to understand that they are not alone in how they feel and that support is there , has meant that people will now go up to Sarah in the street and start open conversations.
