The Beginning of Rest

IMPORTANT note from Pastor Katy -Hi everyone! I wanted to leave a quick note here to correct something that I said in this sermon-- Sabbath was actually not the first thing that God had blessed and there were actually two previous blessings in chapter one of Genesis. This mistake happened because I had a list of notes as I was planning this series with a list of Blessings that occur throughout Genesis and had mistaken labeled those blessings from chapter 1 as being from chapter 2 so when I sorted my list, sabbath was mistakenly listed as the first blessing in my notes. I didn't catch this mistake on my edited outline either which is why it made it into this sermon. However the language surrounding the definition of "Blessing" is still true and applicable. I apologize for the error, and appreciate the space to correct myself here as we always want to make sure our teachings are true and accurate!-Pastor Katy
