The Beginning of Saint Brigid - Irish Mythology Storytelling (Live Show)

from Candlelit Tales Irish Mythology Podcast · host Candlelit Tales

Conas taoi? How are ye? Welcome back to the Candlelit Tales podcast, where we tell Irish myths set to original music. In this episode we are taking a break from the current Fianna Saga, to bring you as special episodes to tie in with the Celtic Wheel of the Year, and the upcoming Imbolg Festival. So this story is based around The Goddess & The Saint Brigid, as we celebrated Imbolg last year for ‘Brigid 1500’ a beautiful festival commemorating anniversary of the birth this Saint. This show was funded by Louth Co. Council and recorded in the beautifully renovated Orela Centre in Dundalk, Co. Louth, the Birthplace of Brigid. There is a Video for this entire show on YouTube - and you can see us perform with the three wonderful musicians we had with us on the night, they were Alan Homan, Colm Farrel, and Caoimhín Kelleher. Please like, subscribe, leave a comment or a review wherever you get this podcast, but especially on YouTube to help us grow that channel and keep track of the many more videos we’ll be posting there soon.
