The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters." The full story of God’s creation is thus: in the beginning, God created everything, through Christ. Then we are remade, through the death and resurrection of Christ. And then when Christ returns, we are made like him. Three creative steps, all through Christ: we are made, we are made clean, we are made like him. Today’s sermon kicks off a series studying Genesis, understanding this incredible story: the story of God.
