The Belonging Lens

Why does rejection hurt so much?Research shows that social rejection activates the same regions of the brain associated with physical pain. In this episode of Lens Reflections with Edna, we explore what I call the Belonging Lens, the deep biological need we as humans have to belong.This reflection looks at how early experiences shape the way we interpret belonging today and how becoming aware of those lenses may allow us to experience new environments, relationships, and perspectives differently.
