She returned to hair & beauty at 38, learned nails, and took over a business. She realised that there was a gap in the market for nail training apprenticeships.She has had to often defend the industry against the common misconception that hairdressing or any vocational courses are not a pathway to a lucrative career, and the negative connotations that these are only for students who are not suitable for A-level courses or University.
