The Best (& Worst) Movie Musicals

Send us Fan MailWelcome to Episode 68!  Happy Pride month!  The Boys are kicking off Pride with a goodie for you this week so let's jump right in!  In this week's Trash Pick-Up, Mark is talking with Casey about the first experience of going out to eat indoors and to a bar in well over a year (and post vaccination) and let's just say -- it was a memorable experience!  Then, Casey is recounting his recent outings and comparing his experiences with the ones Mark has just experienced.  It's a different world for sure these days!Last week, Mark & Casey had to edit out some quality content but sparked further discussion inspiring this week's Mid-Section.  There are several movie musicals in the works and scheduled to be released in the coming few months- Dear Evan Hansen being just one of them. In further discussing this popular movie style, The Boys are discussing their favorites (and least favorite) movies from this sub-genre in movie making. The list is varying in styles and time periods. Did your favorites (and not-so-favorites) make either list??  Did they miss anything or overrate something?? Be sure to reach out and let them know!Then it's onto this week's Trash Talk.  This week, The Boys are kicking off everyone's favorite segment on news stories from the week with a mess of a story from a right wing, media company who claims they report "news" but has regularly been proven to spread inaccurate stories full of lies and "alternative facts".  One anchor went on an unhinged rant about cereal maker, Kellogg's, limited edition cereal for Pride month - Together With Pride. And guess what?? He outed an icon in the process!  Next up, Casey is bringing us the deets from a menage-a-tois involving a Brazilian rapper which ended in a most unfortunate way.  To close out this week's segment, Casey is giving us an update on Karen (well one Karen in particular -- Central Park Karen) and Mark is telling us the latest Karen outing and it is OUTRAGEOUS (and you'll never believe what she was wearing)!In this week's recommendations, Mark has a quick, binge-able, fun comedy series and Casey has a new summer bop!  This is a wide-ranging episode full of fun, information, and discourse!
