Conflict happens in marriage doesn't it? Anyone in the house today whose marriage has yet to engage in conflict? We laugh but our culture has a tendency to paint a healthy marriage as one that involves no conflict when exactly the opposite is true. A healthy marriage is one that involves conflict. Why can I say that? Simple... The best marriage in the best song has conflict. What I want everyone to understand this morning is that what makes a healthy marriage isn't the absence of conflict but it is how a marriage responds to that conflict. A healthy marriage isn't defined by the absence of conflict but by the response.
