However, between my diary allergy and vegan diet, I’ve personally seen how being excluded from it impacts relationships and unhealthy eating habits impacts our health. Plant based options have rapidly increased in popularity the last 5 years. However, there are still limited choices and in 2019 I started running popular community dinners that catered to those with and without dietary restrictions. These dinners were the launchpad for our company Dianna’s Plantbased Foods. Our flagship Creamy Cheddar Cheese Sauce is soy-free, naturally gluten free, nut-free, clean labeled, and delicious. Our cheese sauce is made with soul and can be used in Mac and Cheese, as a dip, a sandwich spread, and even for nachos. Dietary Restrictions are becoming more complex and the food industry isn’t keeping up. It's not easy engineering clean label recipes that cater to 99% of diets and taste amazing, but as a Georgia Tech engineer, I'm up for the challenge. We don’t sacrifice on this mission or ingredients to make our product easier to manufacture. We create a safe space in the community by making the dinner table more inclusive and healthier.
