Hard work pays off, right? And surely God responds more to people who serve Him wholeheartedly? The Christian life is certainly an invitation to good works, but what if people are helpless? Or what about when you are struggling? Is God less favourable towards you in those moments? This sermon challenges the notion that self-help is the ultimate goal and instead encourages you to surrender yourself fully to God in all that you do.
