Welcome to "The Bible in Today's World", the show that compares today's world with the Word of God. In general and specifically, are we following the Bible in our daily walks? Is society demanding that we follow the Word of God in all that we do? Does our Almighty Father look upon us and frequently say, "Well done, good and faithful servant!" - or is He thinking of us as He thought/thinks of Sodom and Gomorrah? On today;'s show, we will explore the "Biblical Role of Men, Part 2" - We also played Part 2 of my interview with Christian counselor/podcast host, MIKE HATCH. MIKE HATCH, a recovering pornography addict with 20 years of experience coaching, mentoring, and discipling men, will join us to discuss the dangers of pornography; his book, "Manhood: Empowered by the Light of the Gospel"; and his podcast, "Throwing Mountains". FROM HIS BIO: I lived much of my life in the dark until I was eventually forced into the light. It was through this painful process of being exposed to the light, and then learning to walk in it, that I discovered God's grace, gained freedom from the dark, and was empowered by the light of the gospel. Most men today are in hiding. Isolation and loneliness has defined us as a generation, and we are disempowered by the lies of the darkness. As a result, we feel inadequate and incompetent at home and in our marriages. We lack a centered identity that would otherwise provide the confidence we need to lead our families well or maintain personal integrity. I currently serve as the National Relationship Generator for CLC, a men's discipleship ministry (clchq.org).
