The Bible is Not Enough (1 John 5:6-12)

This sermon, provocatively entitled, is designed to underscore the basic truth of 1 John 5:6-12, that truth being that life and truth are found in Jesus and the Spirit. Sometimes conservative Christians act as if, or outright believe, that life and truth are bound up in the Scriptures. In fact, life and truth are found in the One to whom the Scriptures bear witness, not in the Scriptures themselves. This sermon makes that case and then applies its implications to our spiritual lives.
