The Bible: Job Chapter 35

In this video listen to Job 35 read by David Alley, followed by comments and prayer. In Job 35 Elihu continues his long speech attempting to prove that Job is wicked just as his older friends had done previously. Because this chapter begins with “Moreover, Elihu continued…” Some have interpreted this as a third speech beginning when Job didn’t reply to his previous words. And in this line of thinking Elihu gives four speeches, but this video suggests it's just one big speech. This video takes up a question by Elihu about the reason why people pray, and we find out that there are many selfless reasons why people pray.
