Hot, and hotter~ For the most part living in Southern California is a blessing. For 8-9 months of the year we have georgeous weather, with temps in the mid-70's, and a smattering of rain from time to time. You can get by very well with your windows open and the ceiling fans moving air around the house, and even if it gets a little warm all you do is close the house until it cools down right after dark, and then you open up again. Coming soon is the heat of July, August and September. OMG does it get hot. And this next week we will be having temps in the 100's, and we aren't at the middle of June yet. Top this off with the fact that inflation is at 8 1/2 %  (the highest in 42 years), and no one can afford gasoline at near $7/gallon for their cars in order to drive to the beach to get out of the heat, and you have a perfect storm for a disaster of epic proportions. We will have to find out if the power grid can handle the load for all of the Air Conditioners that will be running 24/7. As we move forward into summer we must remember what Jesus said about the signs of the end of time in Matt. 24:32-33:  "Now learn the parable from the fig tree: when its branch has already become tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near; so, you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door." The Faithful and Wise enough Bond-servant is here right now, feeding his fellow servants their food at the proper time. And that food is the truth that the Kingdom of Heaven needs to know in order to be prepared for the coming of a time of peace and prosperity, instead of a time of Death and Destruction. The spiritual summer is upon us, bringing the heat of the truth that will set free the Kingdom of God on the earth.
