The Big Con

from Bindle Wireless Playhouse · host Ty Gardner

A PBS-style radio documentary profiles fallen TV star Michael C. Brennen as he attempts a comeback. Through narration, interviews, and found recordings, the show pieces together how the former star of the iconic 90s sci-fi series Interplanetary torpedoed his career and how he plans to scurry his way back to the top. It's now 2018, Interplanetary is still on the air and bigger than ever! This year they are celebrating 30 years with the largest fan convention ever: Interplanetaricon XXX. The star-studded event will celebrate every aspect of the show's long history with a special actors' panel- the only cast member not invited? Michael! The star of the show for over a decade, and he's being erased! He now sees getting on the Convention panel as his only hope of clawing his way back to the top. Can Michael put aside his ego long enough to make amends? Almost certainly not – but it's worth a shot.
