As we continue this series of messages on Jonah, we turn our attention to the most popular chapter of the book, but unfortunately the most often misquoted. Jonah’s attempt to run from God got him tossed overboard by sailors on the boat he was on, who became imperiled because of Jonah’s defiance of God. Although Jonah deserved his apparent fate, we see God’s mercy as He provided Jonah with a great fish that saved his life.
