Before that he created the Mixmaster anonymous remailer in 1993. He is a frequent public speaker at conferences such as the RSA Security Conference, Computers Freedom and Privacy Conference‚ the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development in Europe‚ ISS World. He is principal author on multiple Internet privacy and security technology patent applications. He took Anonymizer to a very successful exit in 2008, and is now chief scientist of Ntrepid, the acquiring company.
