The Birdcage

from No More Late Fees · host No More Late Fees

Before RuPaul's Drag Race, there was The Birdcage—a 1996 comedy that gave us drag queens, dinner party disasters, and Robin Williams in a wifebeater. This week, Jackie and Danielle are joined by their fabulous pod pals Ajay and Jon from The Delicious Recap to relive the wigs, the scandals, and the iconic walk through South Beach. With Nathan Lane stealing every scene and Gene Hackman rocking a Barbara Bush cosplay, this film is both hilarious and historically queer. The gang dives into the movie’s legacy, Robin and Nathan’s casting switcheroo, and why Val might be the true villain of the story (spoiler: he needed therapy). From political hypocrisy to shrimp soup sabotage, this rewatch is as chaotic as Agador in loafers. It’s heartfelt, it’s hilarious, and yes, it’s still got that We Are Family magic. ·Season 5 Episode 10- — No More Late Fees https://nomorelatefeespodcast.com 909-601-NMLF (6653) — Follow Us on Social: Instagram https://www.instagram.com/nomorelatefees TikTok https://www.tiktok.com/@nomorelatefees Facebook https://www.facebook.com/nomorelatefees Youtube https://www.youtube.com/@nomorelatefees Twitter https://x.com/NoMoreLateFees — CONQUERing myconquering.com 10% Off Code: JACKIE10 — The Delicious Recap Instagram https://www.instagram.com/deliciousrecap/ TikTok https://www.tiktok.com/@deliciousrecap

Shut Up I Love It Sasha Feiler and Joe Cabello Many years ago, Sasha Feiler and Joe Cabello met in line for an improv show. They were young, dumb, and full of it. What followed were comedy shows so explicit, “genitalia” was practically a term of endearment.Fast forward 5 dogs, 6 cats, and way too many weird inside jokes later, Sasha and Joe are no longer young or dumb—but they’re still brimming with you-know-what. Here, they’ve teamed up to bring you a podcast where they interview a guest who passionately defends something universally hated, misunderstood, forgotten, overlooked, Mandela-effected, canceled—you name it. The key? They LOVE it. From toupees... to B-movies... to aliens, psychedelics, and the occasional surprise character, Sasha and Joe are here to spread love to the world that birthed them (but maybe should’ve used protection). So come and get that love because no one else will give it to you like we do.Also, don’t forget to check out the Patreon Bonus version of the show:https://www.patreon.com/c/ShutUpILoveItP Explicit
