The Birdcage - Free-Market Film Analysis

Tonight, by Twitter-poll decree, we slip it into the back end of Pride Month with a review of the Robin Williams / Nathan Lane comedy, “The Birdcage” with James Jenneman of Blackbird. It’s been 25 years since this movie burst onto the scene and changed the cultural landscape.  A gay cabaret owner and his drag queen companion agree to put up a false straight front so that their son can introduce them to his fiance's right-wing moralistic senator. We are family!  This should be a great discussion. Next week, we go A-to-M as we invite Snobby Bobby of the Not For Everyone Podcast on to talk about a 4th of July-ish film with a review of “Jaws”.
