In this scene from Luke 2 we come across a very popular story, the birth of Jesus. But this isn’t content so Christmas can have a story. Luke wants us to be certain by showing us yet another credential, namely that Jesus alone is the culmination point of salvation history. Truly, this is good news of great joy!
