The Birthing of the Church (Part 2)

Today, Bishop Rodgers continues the series on the "Birthing of the Church" from Acts 2-36-42 and Romans 10:8-14. Only Jesus could be God's messenger because He rendered to God's perfect obedience and love. Without Jesus, the church has no message or power. The church is dependent upon Jesus. Also, Jesus needs the church, because we are His hands and feet. The church is called "The Body of Christ." Remember, whatever God ask you do to: (1) your authority comes from God. He will equip you to do His will; and (2) Jesus has demonstrated by His Words and actions, how we are to accomplish the job/task God has given us. As you listen to this message and examine your service to God, ask yourself this question: Why are my issues/situations greater than my service to God? If Jesus Christ was obedient unto death to save us, why are we acting and talking defeat? We are more than conquerors, because the Spirit of the Living God lives in us.
