The BizzleCast 275: Simi returns for THE WITCHER & STAR WARS super epic podcast!

While Simi has enjoyed the recent Star Wars offerings (THE MANDALORIAN and THE RISE OF SKYWALKER) waaaay more than The Bizzle (no surprise here) and isn’t as crazy in love with THE WITCHER tv series as I am (but he loves the books like we all do), this podcast is very much a culmination of The BizzleCast in 2019 where I pivoted hard — subtly at first and than totally blatantly — from Star Wars to The Witcher on the podcast as I increasingly felt that a) Star Wars was headed towards a downswing and would inevitably keep disappointing and dividing many fans, but more importantly b) that The Witcher was going to for sure take the world by storm and that I couldn’t wait to experience it all. I may have only made a handful of spectacularly prophetic predictions in five years of podcasting (Elizabeth Olsen and Ahsoka Tano come to mind for you fans out there!) but my confidence that THE WITCHER would be awesome and the world would love it is probably my best but also the one I felt most confident about. And because of that, my disappointment with Star Wars at the end of this past year is barely an afterthought as I bask in the glory of the directors, actors, writers, and everyone else on the cast and crew of THE WITCHER who made Season One so special but is going to blow people away more and more as we get into the full Ciri Saga!!!!
