THE BLACK STALLION (1979)

A horse!  As black as night to day.  A beast, a god, with whom he did stay.  They slept on the sand, and played in the ocean.  And rode over the island in a singular motion!  Franz and Paul won't let the Garage out break them as they discuss Carroll Ballard's gorgeous 1979 film THE BLACK STALLION!  Told from the perspective of young Alec Ramsay, it's an intimate post-war adventure of exquisite color and rich silence.  Grab a handful of mane, scoot 'n' boot, and throw it away!
