One very striking blessing that comes with divine leading is that you can never be misdirected. If you're getting misled, it's either the directive is not divine or you didn't hear correctly due to distraction or information insufficiency. God's leading is peaceable, encouraging, comforting, and soul-lifting. It will take you places where you can find pasture (John 10: 9; Psalm 23: 2). Unfortunately, many are malnourished today because of an imbalance in their in-take of instruction. To submit yourself to be led indicates the existence of a relationship. It is a test of character to be a disciplined follower, where you're chiseled and beat into shape for His glory. Whilst He leaves us with the prerogatives to choose, He prompts us always to make the right decisions. If you've difficulty in hearing, you might miss the rich guidance of His gentle still voice. He doesn't just lead you to nourishing fields, He ensures you're preserved from harm in the course of your journey to your resting place called the quiet brook of bliss.
