Mother of Veer who is resilient, determined and focussed – food blogger and wants that no diabetic child should be devoid of any food item.Veer was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in 2015 after a recurrent stomach pain which was mistaken and mistreated to be a normal pain, however one day it went severe and the family found out about his diabetes diagnosis. With no awareness about diabetes, she felt lost and stressed about her son. It was Dr Anju Virmani’s word and support that has helped her and gave her that warm comfort. People/children living with Type 1 diabetes are no doubt a living star and an inspiration. Asking where they get this strength from, the answer is always- family. Mother is an inspiration here. Babita Balhara, mother of a teenage boy living with type 1 diabetes, Veer Balhara.Veer’s diagnosis made Babita strong, and she felt she should do something for her son and children like her. Education was a challenge for her so she made the best use of her talent, her cooking skills. She is now a food blogger, having her own YouTube channel where she makes sure to create healthy cuisine which her son and other kids can thoroughly enjoy.
