(The) Blue Helmets: The Unchecked Terror of Peacekeeping Missions

They arrive under the banner of the United Nations, wearing the blue helmets of global peace. But for many vulnerable civilians in conflict zones, these forces have become a source of a different kind of terror: systematic sexual exploitation, human trafficking, and a culture of impunity shielded by diplomatic immunity. This is the story of how the world's guardians can become its predators, and the international system that looks the other way.This episode will be a damning investigation into the dark side of international peacekeeping.
