The Blueprint of the Son

Divinity did not exempt Jesus from difficulty. Even as the Son of God, He was both tested and tempted.​The Test: The Holy Spirit led Him into the wilderness to prove His character through fasting and reliance on God.​The Temptation: The Enemy met Him in His hunger, whispering shortcuts to avoid the cross.​Jesus didn't complain about the test, and He didn't negotiate with the temptation. He answered both with: 'It is written.' When you know who you are in God, you can endure the testing of your seasons and completely dismantle the trap of temptation."
