THE BLUES BROTHERS (1980) Movie Reaction! | First Time Watch | Dan Aykroyd | John Belushi

Vivian, Michael, & Brandon react to The Blues Brothers, the legendary musical comedy that follows brothers Jake and Elwood Blues on a “mission from God” to reunite their old band and save the orphanage that raised them. What begins as a simple fundraising effort quickly turns into a wildly chaotic road trip filled with unforgettable musical performances, outrageous car chases, and nonstop comedy that has made the film a beloved cult classic. Directed by John Landis (An American Werewolf in London, Coming to America, Trading Places, National Lampoon’s Animal House), the film stars John Belushi (National Lampoon’s Animal House, Saturday Night Live, 1941), Dan Aykroyd (Ghostbusters, Dragnet, Coneheads, Saturday Night Live), Carrie Fisher (Star Wars, When Harry Met Sally…, The Burbs, Hannah and Her Sisters), and features unforgettable musical performances from Aretha Franklin (Amazing Grace, Blues Brothers 2000), James Brown (Rocky IV, The T.A.M.I. Show), Ray Charles (Ray, The Blues Brothers 2000), Cab Calloway (Stormy Weather, The Cincinnati Kid), and John Lee Hooker (The Color Purple, Blues Brothers 2000). Blending classic rhythm and blues with unforgettable comedy, The Blues Brothers remains one of the most iconic musical films ever made. ___________________________________________________ We've got merch!
