The Blunt Truth about Medical Marijuana and African Americans

The truth is, that African-Americans are incarcerated at a higher rate than any other race for marijuana use, possession and sales than any other race. Yet, when it comes to their ability to obtain a cannabis license to sell within the legal guidlines of various state governments, its virtually impossible for them to get approved for a license to sell the product legally.  With recent moves in Congress, one barrier may have been lessened or eliminated as a result of local banks getting the green light to provide lending to small business owners.   Our guests tonight Ashlei Stevens and Tre'Von Dorsey share their insight and knowledge on this new opportunity and process for potential African-American business owners.
