While assigned to the 7th Special Forces Group (A), Jose deployed numerous times to Central and South America, and twice to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom/Combined Joint Task Force-76 from 2004-2005 and Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force-Afghanistan from 2018-2019.While assigned to JSOC, Jose deployed to Qatar in support of both Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
