Blair will be interviewing artist Carrie Riehl of The Bohemian on Wednesday, February 12. The Bohemian is an arts and culture publication which produces monthly issues to connect art enthusiasts of varying levels of expertise and comfortability in Kansas City. The magazine offers collectors edition releases which include screen printed work by local printmakers Paper Back Publishing.  Since its production The Bohemian has been featured by Bread KC and has worked with a variety of prolific local artists including Garry Noland, Joe Bussell, Mike Lyon, and Peregrine Honig.  The zine offers an avenue for critical discussion as well as promoting artwork for early career artists who have limited resources for publication.  Many of the writers, designers, and illustrators have ties to Kansas City Art Institute and range in years of experience, though certainly not in creativity and zeal.
