The Bold Secret to an Exciting Faith*

Many Christians wonder why their faith feels routine instead of exciting. Looking at Colossians 1:24-29, Pastor Chris Teien explains that the secret to a vibrant Christian life is not gaining more knowledge but faithfully serving others and participating in God's mission. Discover how serving, sharing the gospel, and helping others grow in Christ unleashes a bold faith that transforms both your life and the lives of those around you.In This Message1. Bold Faith Serves Others with Christ's Strength(Colossians 1:24-25; Ephesians 2:10; Matthew 20:28)Every believer has a ministry, regardless of occupation, age, or stage of life. God has uniquely placed each Christian where they can influence others for Christ. As believers faithfully serve through the power of the Holy Spirit, God uses ordinary acts of obedience to accomplish extraordinary purposes.2. Bold Faith Shares the Gospel Wherever God Has Placed You(Colossians 1:26-27; Matthew 28:19-20; Romans 10:14-15)The mystery once hidden has now been revealed: salvation through Jesus Christ is available to everyone. Believers are called to share this message wherever they live, work, and serve. Every conversation becomes an opportunity to plant seeds of faith and point people toward the hope found in Christ.3. Bold Faith Helps Others Grow to Spiritual Maturity(Colossians 1:28; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; Hebrews 10:24-25)Christian ministry goes beyond introducing people to Jesus. It also includes teaching, encouraging, correcting, and helping believers mature in their faith. God uses His Word and His people to shape lives that increasingly reflect the character of Christ.4. Bold Faith Depends on Christ's Power, Not Personal Ability(Colossians 1:29; Philippians 3:12-14; John 15:5)Paul recognized that lasting spiritual fruit comes through Christ's power rather than human effort. Although believers work diligently, they rely on the Holy Spirit to strengthen, equip, and sustain them. As Christians continue pressing forward in faith, God faithfully completes the work He has begun in their lives.18m0526der Helping you apply God's Word and follow Jesus in everyday life.
