The Boldness That Only Comes from Christ | 3650 Minutes of Prayer

from Psalms23Wave · host Mathew Sekanjako

This is Day Five of 3650 Minutes of Prayer. This episode begins with a focused exhortation on boldness, reminding us that true boldness does not come from personality, confidence, education, intellectual study, science, or human effort, but from Christ alone. Scripture reveals that boldness is rooted in faith, formed through hearing the Word of Christ, and sustained by our position in Him.When Christ died, the curtain of the temple was torn, removing the separation between God and man. In the place of worship, we now approach the throne with confidence, not through rituals, systems, or human mediation, but through Christ Himself. This restored access points us back to God’s original design, where man lived in union with God, created in His likeness, walking in fellowship rather than fear. Because of Christ, we no longer stand at a distance. We draw near as sons and daughters. This also means we do not need another human intermediary to approach the Father. Christ is our only Mediator, and through Him we have direct access to God. The Holy Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God. This assurance is the foundation of our boldness. Not striving. Not proving. But belonging. In Christ, the dividing walls have been broken down. There is no Jew or Gentile, no black or white, no European or African. We are ONE Body, joined together by ONE Spirit, in and through Christ. Our boldness flows from this unity, this access, and this restored identity. Boldness is not loudness or the absence of fear, but trust in who Christ is and who we are in Him. These reflections lead us into prayer, inviting us to rest in Christ and walk in the boldness that only comes from Him.Prayer & Reflection Scriptures (AMP)Ephesians 3:12In whom we have boldness and confident access through faith in Him.Matthew 27:51And at once the curtain (veil) of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom.Hebrews 10:19–20Therefore, believers, since we have confidence and boldness to enter the holy place of God’s presence by the blood of Jesus, by this new and living way which He initiated and opened for us through the veil, that is, through His flesh.1 Timothy 2:5For there is one God, and one Mediator between God and mankind, the Man Christ Jesus.Romans 8:15–16For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading again to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!” The Spirit Himself testifies and confirms together with our spirit that we are children of God.Ephesians 2:14–16For He Himself is our peace, who made both groups into one and broke down the barrier of the dividing wall.Galatians 3:28There is no Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you who believe are all one in Christ Jesus.Romans 10:17So faith comes from hearing, and hearing comes by the message concerning Christ.John 1:1–3In the beginning was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. All things were made and came into existence through Him.Ephesians 2:6And He raised us up together with Him and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.1 John 4:4Greater is He [Christ] who is in you than he who is in the world.Matthew 14:30–31He cried out, “Lord, save me!” Immediately Jesus reached out His hand and caught him.Word Insight (Greek & Hebrew)Boldness comes from Greek parrēsía—fearless access before God—and Hebrew batach—secure trust in Him. There is One true God, the Creator of all things, revealed in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. There is One God and One Spirit Who has redeemed us all. I am Mathew Sekanjako, a believer in Christ Jesus (Yeshua HaMashiach), the one Son of God. I serve and confess God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. This intercession is offered in faith, in obedience, and in love, for all who will listen.
