The Book Nook: The Legend of Sleepy Hollow

The Book Nook is a new series dedicated to discussing books that matter. We think Christians have some reading to do if they want to stay informed and effective. The books we talk about, both fact and fiction, are important for helping us all think better and inspire our imaginations.  This first episode is about one of the most famous and enduring ghost stories in American literature, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow (1820). This short story by Washington Irving richly demonstrates the power and importance of ghost stories and why even Christians should read books about things that go bump in the night!
