Welcome back to Reading with Ben! Let's continue the lecture on the book of 1 Chronicles. This is episode #14 chapters 27 & 28. 1 Chronicles Chapter 28, This chapter deals with the list of the People of Israel including the head of families, commanders and the officers who served the king. Each and every division was composed of 24,000 men. 1 Chronicles Chapter 28, describes King David’s wish to build a temple. During his last days, there were several Levites and chief priests in Jerusalem. David assembled them and talked about his wish of building a temple for the Lord. However, God had disallowed that purpose.
