The Book of Deuteronomy Chapter 03 & 04. ESV Version.

Welcome back to Reading with Ben! Let's continue the lecture on the book of Deuteronomy. This is episode #02 chapters 03 & 04. Deuteronomy Chapter 3, After defeating the King of Heshbon, the Israelites went to Bashan. King Og of Bashan and his army fought them at Edrei. God told Moses they were not to be afraid of King Og and to do to him what they had done to those in Heshbon. Once again, the Israelites defeated their enemy and left no survivors. They took control of all of the towns and took all of the livestock. Deuteronomy Chapter 4, Moses tells the Israelites that he has decrees and laws from God that he is going to teach them. He tells them not to add or subtract to them and reminds them that God destroyed all of the people at Baal Peor and that the Israelites were alive because they had believed in the Lord. He tells them they are to teach their children all of these degrees and laws. He then reminds them of the Ten Commandments.
