The Book of Deuteronomy Chapter 19 & 20. ESV Version.

Welcome back to Reading with Ben! Let's continue the lecture on the book of Deuteronomy. This is episode #10 chapters 19 & 20. Deuteronomy Chapter 19, explains the cities of refuge. The Lord commanded the Israelites to set aside three cities in the land that they have taken from other nations. They were to determine the distance of this land and divide it into three parts. Deuteronomy Chapter 20, is about going to war. The Israelites were told not to be afraid when they are approaching battle and they see their enemies with chariots and armies that are far greater than their own. The Lord God who brought them out of Egypt will be with them during every battle, therefore they were not to fear anything.
