The Book of James | Stress is Predictable

Pastor James Roberson III James 1:2 says, “Consider it pure joy, my brothers, when­ ever you face trials of many kinds.” The verse does not say “if” we face trials of many kinds, it says “when.” James’s point is obvious-stress is predictable. It is inevitable, inescapable, and unavoidable. We all have it. Some of us have learned to deal with it, some of us have not.
