The Book of Joshua Chapters 17 & 18. ESV Version.

Welcome back to Reading with Ben! Let's continue the lecture on the book of Joshua. This is episode #09 chapters 17 & 18. Joshua Chapter 17, The son of Manasseh only had daughters and they were given an inheritance because God commanded Moses to do it. Joshua gave them their inheritance and also gave an inheritance to their uncles. The Manasseh tribe’s inheritance was ten land tracts, as well as Bashan and Gilead. The Gilead land also belonged to the other remaining descendants of Manasseh. Joshua Chapter 18, Seven tribes of Israel had still not been given their inheritance. Joshua said that three males from each of the seven tribes were to go and survey the land. Then the land would be divided. He said that Judah was to stay in its territory and the Joseph tribe was to stay in their territory as well.
