The Book of Numbers Chapter 31 & 32. ESV Version.

Welcome back to Reading with Ben! Let's continue the lecture on the book of Numbers. This is episode #16 Numbers chapters 31 & 32. Numbers Chapter 31, God spoke to Moses and commanded him to get revenge on the Midianites. Moses told the Israelites to go fight the Midianites because the Lord wanted vengeance. Moses told them that each tribe had to send 1,000 men into battle. Twelve thousand men went into battle against the Midianites. Numbers Chapter 32, The Gadites and Reubenites had large flocks and herds. They noticed that the land in Gilead and Jazer were ideal for livestock. They went to Eleazar and Moses as well as the other community leaders to ask them if this land could be theirs because they did not want to cross the Jordan.
