Have you ever been in vicious cycle? Many times we find ourselves spiralling downward because of decisions we keep making. God, however, has a better path. The path you find yourself on shows where your security lies. Are you secure in Jesus?Sermon Questions:1. Why do people sometimes feel secure apart of God? Has this happened to you before? (See Nahum 1:12)2. How does God get people’s attention when they are relying on themselves or others instead of Him? (See Nahum 2:10)3. What is the common reaction when God allows something you relied on to be taken away? (See Nahum 3:15-17)4. How does relying on anything other than God create a cycle of insecurity (i.e. you are full, emptied and multiply your efforts until you’re full again)? Have you lived this cycle? How did you break it?5. Pray to God about your reliance on Him. Are their any idols in your life trying to take His place as the one who provides your security? If so, confess them.
