The Bottom Line that Really Matters 5 - What really makes us tick - Genesis 1:26-31; 3:1-7

When someone says "what makes you tick", usually they are asking what motivates or interests you. But I want to get at something a bit deeper. When you think about humanity, at what point does humanity thrive? How are we supposed to be? How are we supposed to function, where I'm doing what I should be doing, where I am what I'm supposed to be, where I feel alive and I am in the groove of what I am to be functioning as? What is it that really makes us tick? This summer, we're talking about the bottom line that really matters. We've talked about the truth about God and of Christ and the Holy Spirit and the truth about the Scriptures. Today I want to talk about what is really the doctrine of man, how to think about humanity. The Bible has a lot to say about that.
