The Boundaries of The Work Spouse or Keep Your Distance?

When your special someone mentions to you about something about their work spouse how does that make you feel? Is it a family friend that’s around all the time or is it a person that you hardly know that is in constant contact and it’s always “about work”? For any person, single or attached, a work spouse relationship can develop in different ways, with the Utopian scenario is very endearing friendship. The most useful versions would be a strategic alliance or a chemistry-based alliance. In most situations, both parties are knowingly keeping this relationship limited to a professional manner but each person actually cares. Now when there is any level of physical attraction, it is suggested to have honesty but….you know. So where do you set your boundaries with workplace-only companionship?
