The Boxing Source Radio Show - January 14th 2018

The first show of 2018! On Saturday, the Barclays Center will host the IBF welterweight title fight between defending champion Errol Spence Jr. and Lamont Peterson. This is sure to be a very good fight between the two as they would like to stake their claim as one of the best fighters in the welterweight division. The co-feature bout will have Robert Easter Jr. defend his lightweight title against Javier Fortuna which could be another good fight on the card. Other fights that are on the schedule include Mikey Garcia against Sergey Lipinets plus Rances Barthelemy has a rematch with Kiryl Relikh on February 10th, David Benavidez has a rematch with Ronald Gavril, Devon Alexander faces Victor Ortiz, and Danny Garcia takes on Brandon Rios on February 17th, the World Boxing Super Series continues with the semifinals starting on January 27th, and the heavyweight picture clears up a little bit in the month of March.
