The first show of 2017! Last night, Showtime televised a great card at the Barclays Center. Gervonta Davis fought Jose Pedraza for the IBF junior lightweight championship, and Badou Jack fought James DeGale to attempt to unify the WBC and IBF super middleweight championships. There was also some fights on Showtime Extreme, including Amanda Serrano and Yazmin Rivas being the main event of that telecast. We will discuss the results of these fights and what is in the future for most of these fighters. Since we have not been on in a few weeks, there is a lot of news to cover. Announcements about title fights, upcoming matches in the next two months, and updates on high profile fights will be talked about as well.
