The Boxing Source Radio Show - September 23rd 2018

We go over the unified heavyweight title clash between Anthony Joshua and Alexander Povetkin that was at Wembley Stadium last night. It was a good fight that had its moments for both fighters, but then changed dramatically in the 7th round. We got through that fight in depth and also the fights that were on the undercard. In addition to that, we give and listen to thoughts about how the presentation was on DAZN as it was the first boxing event on the streaming network. Another announcement in the heavyweight division took place this week, and that involves the WBC heavyweight championship. Many see this as a key fight and this will be discussed in depth on another segment of the show. We also look ahead to the WBSS final in the super middleweight division as George Groves will fight Callum Smith with the WBA super middleweight title on the line. In addition to that we will go through a couple of fights that will happen before the end of the month.
