Two middleweight fights will be taking place in the week as WBA "regular" middleweight champion Daniel Jacobs will be in a rematch against Sergio Mora on Friday night, and Gennady Golovkin will defend the WBA "super", WBC, IBF, and IBO middleweight titles against Kell Brook. In addition to these middleweight title fights, two junior bantamweight title fights will happen as Naoya Inoue defends his belt against Petchbarngborn Kokietgym and Carlos Cuadras defends his title against Roman Gonzalez.
