Season 1 is available now! On January 11, 2013, the body of a student was discovered inside a rolled up wrestling mat in the old gym of Lowndes County High School in Valdosta, GA. The boy in the mat was named Kendrick "KJ" Johnson. This investigative series presents the facts of the case, drawing from thousands of photos, videos and documents as well as the official Lowndes County Sheriff's Office case file. Features several interviews from people involved in the official investigations as well as people who followed the case closely as it developed.This episode isn't necessary to get the whole story of the Kendrick Johnson investigation. In our attempts to expand our scope and get a better understanding of what it means to be a person of color in Valdosta, we learned a lot. So we decided to turn what we learned into an episode for you.
