This story is inspired by novel, Divine Rivals by Rebecca Ross Iris and Roman were competing for a columnist position at the newspaper company. They were rivals. After Roman was chosen, Iris quit and went 600 kilometers away to become a war correspondent with a different newspaper. She decided on this because she was grieving. Her mum had just died and she wanted to find her brother who was fighting in the war. Her greatest source of comfort were the letters she exchanged with an anonymous friend/penpal because of a magical typewriter.
